About Us

The Sangli Mission Society (SMS) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1990 with the purpose of empowering

the poor, marginalized and the needy persons in the society. Since from the inception, Sangli Mission Society has been engaged in

various activities like formal education, special education, community-based rehabilitation, community development, women

empowerment, health care, environmental protection, and promotion of sustainable agriculture, skill development, livelihood

programs etc. to create an inclusive and just society.

Enabling the sustainable development of humanity through a process of empowering the less privileged, exploited, weak, marginalized and down trodden of the society.

Registered charitable Society (Mah /3863/Sangli &F/3827Sangli) under both Societies Registration Act 1860 and Mumbai Public Trust Act 1950.
Registered under FCRA Act 2011 with FCRA Number: 083860036 valid till 1 April 2027.
Certificate of 12 A and 80 G from income tax department
Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) conferred Permanent Registration Number (PRN) MH2016RT10285 in May 2016 for Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen KaushalyaYojna(DDU-GKY).
(Govt of Maharashtra recognized and registered with Ministry of Commerce) Alphonsa Vocational Training Centre, Halondi- No. VSPM/ATC/R/138/2017 got registered to provide various courses for skill development.
