Protection of the environment: Harita aims at environmental protection via alternate energy solutions, organic farming, agro-based innovations, protection, procreation and promotion of local breeds both in animals as well as plants.
Members of the Children’s parliament plant and nurture plants in various villages under this program. It provides financial support to poor families for constructing biogas plants. Every centre of Sangli Mission set an example to protect and nurture the environment by taking up various agricultural activities.
