Prerna is a project of Sangli Mission society where we organize various projects and programs to empower and develop children and promote and protect their rights.
a) Childline Childline is a 24-hour toll-free phone service for children in need of care and protection from the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), Government of India. In 2011 Sangli Mission Society started to work as a Collaborative organisation for Kolhapur city.
Childline Kolhapur, Childline Sangli and Railway Childline work through SMS in collaboration with the government.
It works for children in child labour, child marriage, begging, missing, physical and sexual abuse and in need of emotional support and guidance. The activities are mass awareness, formation of children groups, open house, follow-up, school awareness, etc.

b) SMS Aflatoun
Social and financial education program for school children
We have reached out to 150 Zilla Parishad schools covering 10000 students in Panhala and Shahuwadi tahsils of Kolhapur district.

c) HITGUJ
Adolescent counselling programs in Secondary Schools
d) Ummid
It is an attempt to arrest malnourishment together with government departments. Program for the malnourished children
e) Alphonsa Shikshan Sahayya Nidhi Providing educational support to poor children.
